Job Description

We are in search of an enthusiastic Development Coordinator who is driven to learn and develop whilst assisting the company in reaching its strategic objectives by providing administrative and other support services.

Opportunities to take on more business development responsibilities are available for the right candidate.

In this role, you will:

  • Independently prepare and update the Global Development Team’s meeting & Board presentations, proposals, and other required documents;
  • Periodically update the development tools including client presentations and marketing materials with the most up-to-date information;
  • Assist the Head of Development & Strategy with initial market research and competitor analysis (including ordering of STR reports) for new opportunities in specific markets and locations.
  • Coordinate with relavant departments throughout the due diligence & approval phases, particularly in securing and collating all required documents for Board presentation and approvals.
  • Schedule and coordinate preparations for both internal & external meetings
  • Take meeting minutes
  • Prepare agenda for recurring regional development meetings and assist in the preparation of the annual strategic planning
  • Use your advanced skills in PowerPoint, InDesign or other graphic design software to prepare high-quality and professional presentations
  • Regularly maintain the development resource library, contract database, and CRM
  • Assist with the preparation of RFP documents and administration

 

ABOUT YOU

Among the skills and experiences that we look for:

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English 
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in hospitality/hotel industry (ideally, hotel operations or corporate office), with knowledge of hotel development/real estate highly regarded
  • Advanced administrative acumen, with extensive knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel applications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Hotel Management/Tourism/Business Administration (desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability in market research skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal & organisational skills, with a refined attention-to-detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities
  • Strong work ethic, professional integrity, and self-driven
  • Confidence to work independently and with others
  • A lot of initiative and ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Desire to learn and grow within the team
