Job Description

Position Summary
Are you a numbers-savvy finance professional ready to take your analytical skills to the next level? Join our dynamic team at Seibu Prince Hotels and Resorts as a FP&A Analyst – Regional Finance Planning & Analysis.

In this regional role, you will play a key part in driving our financial planning and performance analysis, working closely with hotel management teams across our portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity to influence strategic decision-making while sharpening your expertise in budgeting, forecasting, P&L review, financial modelling, and commercial analysis.

Key Responsibilities​​​​

  • Hotel performance & financial KPIs monitoring and analysis
  • Assist Group FP&A team to lead and roll out the company annual budgeting process requirements, coordination and management within the designated region
  • Assist Group FP&A team in regional cash flow management, including regular monitoring and preparation of cash flow projection for hotels within the region
  • Provide monthly analytical and key insights reports regarding financial performance highlights & projection for hotels within the region, including regular report updates on position changes
  • Conduct periodic review meetings with key hotel management team to highlight key trends, provide recommendations towards cost saving initiatives & profit retention improvement
  • Contribute to the improvement of hotels capex/ project management and control under the region
  • Act as a business partner with cross departments to provide advice on financial implications on certain commercial decisions and scenario planning;
  • Be available to conduct on-site internal finance audits, as part of internal control and adhere to company policy & procedures
  • Be available to support corporate requirements for hotel development expansion, including pre-opening and initial setup of finance department structure phase.

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/ or applied finance
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets while maintaining attention to detail
  • CPA/ CFA / CIMA (or equivalent) professional qualification, or close to completion
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint, experience in presentations to key management team is preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience in management accounting, corporate finance, budgeting, forecasting, financial & investment analysis, property valuations and with strong excel skills and data visualisation experience.
  • Interest in reporting and data analysis tools is preferred (ie. Power BI, Tableau and SQL are a plus)
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment across multiple functions & cross departments
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience working in medium to large corporate environment (multinational or listed company preferred);
  • Preferable with experience in the hotel/ hospitality industry sector
