Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across our Australian hotel portfolio – currently 9 hotels. This role works closely with the CEO, Hotel General Managers, and Global Executives to ensure seamless delivery of brand standards, guest satisfaction, and financial performance.
As Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in supporting new hotel openings in Australia, enhancing operational processes, and acting as a key liaison between our corporate office and hotel teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate revenue, cost, and profitability reviews across all hotels
- Collaborate with HR to uphold brand standards, audit compliance, and guest/employee satisfaction
- Implement and monitor KPIs across all departments using a balanced scorecard approach
- Champion the rollout of the Vision, Mission, and Values program
- Act as Relief General Manager when required
- Provide onboarding support for new General Managers
- Serve as a communication bridge between hotels and the corporate office
- Lead operational improvement and innovation projects
Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in General Manager role
- Proven experience in multi-property hotel operations or a senior hotel management role
- Strong understanding of financial performance metrics and operational KPIs
- Demonstrated experience with MLR (Management Letting Right) properties
- Experience with hotel pre-openings and brand standard implementation
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across departments
- Flexibility to travel as required to support hotel operations and openings
